GRENADA FISHING on the LITTLE BOAT

Captain Stewart  offers an exciting day out small boat fishing in the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, never far from the shores of Grenada.

We used to regularly catch the mighty BLUE MARLIN and hard-fighting YELLOWFIN  TUNA as well as local WAHOO and DORADO .  This was on our big boat Wayward Wind a 31 ft Bertram 31. She is now not used for charters and is in fact FOR SALE with two new Yanmar engines.

These days we charter fish on THE LITTLE BOAT  a  Maverick 17 ft flats boat with 85 HP Yamaha outboard engine.

Fully equipped with life jackets, drinks and all rods and reels. Bring your own rods if you like.

There is no cover on the boat, so bring with you a hat, sun glasses and a good sun  cream.

The Little Boat is berthed just south of our capital St. George in GRENADA YACHT CLUB. We are flexible on times and leave when you ask. A normal trip is 4 hours but we listen to your wishes.

Cost for the trip is fixed at US$500, maximum two people.

On calmer days we fish in the mangrove  bays at the end of Grenada. We use casting rods with lures.  A variety of fish swim here :Snook, Tarpon, Kuvalle, Barracuda and more …………

On windier days – up to maximum 15 knots – we fish up the West coast in the shelter of land.  Here we troll lures in clear water for fish like small tuna, dorado, barracuda and trevalle.  Sometimes a bottom fish will come up to take a hook.

Any wind more than 15 knots we do not go out in The Little Boat.
